AN ALTERATION & ADDITION TO AN EXISTING CANTERBURY HOME
This project is for a renovation and extension to an existing two-storey home in leafy Canterbury.
The original timber clad house was built early last century, with a rear extension carried by the previous owners in the 1980’s. This extension was designed and built to be in keeping with the existing house, and the clients requested this same philosophy be applied to the architectural language of the new extension.
The extension comprised of an open plan kitchen/dining area to the ground floor level, with a ensuite and walk-in-robe to the first floor level. Renovations to the existing house included the existing kitchen to be changed to a new bathroom and laundry/utility.
The interiors have been designed with a modern contemporary feel with a classical twist.
The project is about to go to site.
